Reception of the Works Certificate

The reception of the works certificate is recommended at the moment prior of acceptance of the work, and its objective is the verification, supported by specific standards and good techniques, of the following:

a) conditions of adequacy and operation of all building systems involved;

b) if there are any inconsistencies between what was done/employed and the designed/descriptive memorial contained in the contract, advertising and disclosure material (if applicable);

c) if there are nonconformities which prevent the issuance by relevant authorities of certificates, licenses and / or permits to release for operation;

d) quality of the service provided and material used;

e) early-stage occurrence of problems and damages;

f) the existence of hidden defects; besides guiding correction and repairing procedures so that the work can be accepted.
